Well done and thanks to all of our entrants to the Autumn Anansi Archive writing competitions.
The standard and volume of entries was very high and it’s only sad that we don’t have the resources to reward more of you for your amazing efforts.
After much deliberation, these are the top writers in each category: –
H.B.O’Neill for his hilarious horror story that won our Autumn 2021 Short Fiction award.
Susannah Cherry for her salutary take of office chatter that won the Flash Fiction award.
And Abi Turner for her intimate and epic poem that earned top place in the Poetry category.
Also to our runners-up and third placed entries:- Norman Thomson and Chris Kok in the Short Fiction.
Frances Valdes and R.F. Marazas in the Flash Fiction.
And Jessica Bath and Kathy Tierney in the Poetry.
