    There’s a good article here on how to structure a good story. I found some useful tips that I hadn’t thought about before.

    I like that article Freddie. I’m a pretty disorganised person and impulsive too so I often start getting stuff down on paper before thinking about where this is going. I get up to a few pages, then run out of steam because I have no idea what to do next. This article demonstrates the usefulness of planning. You don’t have to know the end result, just have road-map and a context for what is happening and then let your writing join up the events. I think it helps reassure the reader that their narrator is a trustworthy guide.
